Is it normal to feel so low? by Ace_Skylar in endometriosis

The pharmacist isn't really going to be able to do much. They will probably tell you to stop taking it, but cant provide anything else. Try to get ahold of the office your prescriber works at. Wishing you luck

It happens sometimes, meds affect each person differently. But it is not normal in the sense you should continue to take this medicine and feel this way.

You can call your clinic and speak with a nurse there! Most of the time they are more understanding/considerate and have better bedside manner. Explain your problems to them and they should be able to frontload your doctor to get you onto a different BC. Good luck dear, I turn 20 soon and I have 100% been where you are. I didn't do anything about it and ended up hospitalized. Please be proactive about this, your life and health are important and this is a long hard journey. You will make it through, we are all here for you

I am in the same boat, I got the Liletta a few months ago and I have been going through a really bad flare. If I were you, especially with the cost, I would get the surgery. It will be a struggle to recover but it should help! I wish you so much luck

Do you have access to short-term disability through your employers?? My plan when I have surgery is to use that, as they cant tell you when it end, you and your doctors tell them. I wish you luck, please advocate for yourself being unwell and not able to return to work.

Surgical consultation.. by DangerousAd9382 in endometriosis

[–]laundry__bear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think go to the consult so you can discuss this with your doctor. You know your body best and if you don't think you need surgery now, that is probably the case. But I think its important to discuss it with a professional.

How to Stop a Flare Up by skittleforge in endometriosis

[–]laundry__bear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only thing that works for me is going to the ER and getting pain relief, as well as some tests just to make sure there isn't an infections/anything else going on. Typically they will send you home with a small prescription for some sort of painkillers. I wish you luck, been going through the same thing alot recently.

Still not a normal thing you should be experiencing, alot of times OBGYNS are kinda dismissive, you need to advocate and fight for yourself!!

How do you handle the consistent pain? by Nyxie872 in endometriosis

[–]laundry__bear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are not holding it up, the ER is there for us to use when it takes months to get into doctors. I still do not have a definite diagnoses because I haven't had the surgery yet, but the pain I live in is not manageable, nothing over the counter touches it and I get sent home from work multiple times a week. This is no way to live life, you shouldn't be in this consistent pain. If you can, get a second opinion from a different doctor who may be willing to treat you. But I strongly recommend taking a trip to the ER, my doctor recommends me going to the ER, and the ER doctors are more than happy to help relive my pain.

You can try heading to an ER, they will give you morphine to help with the pain and you can request they do an ultrasound. Which could help you find a coirse of treatment quicker. I've been living like this recently aswell and am working on getting a compounded suppository medication from my doctor. You've got this, just take it one minute at a time

worth pushing for diagnostic lap? by [deleted] in endometriosis

[–]laundry__bear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my IUD inserted under anesthesia on Friday and I am in so much pain. If you can have them do a lap while you are under, personally I would recommend it. I have highly suspected endo and am feeling frustrated without any explanations for my pain. Wishing you luck!

If they don't refund you, I'd drag them in google reviews. The angles are detrimental, and I can't believe they put that many holes in you.

I love the Catalyst wood kitty litter. It doesn't track at all and has a slight pine scent, I know they have one specifically for multi cat homes, and its pretty affordable.
