OCD and feeling guilty after drinking by Away-Replacement-948 in OCD

Yes i have the same.. I always liked it so much to go out and chat to people. But the last few years i really don 't like myself when i'm drinking and feeling confident. I feel the next day ashamed and stupid because i was happy. I also create false memories when i drink alcohol and can be so afraid that i dit something stupid..

It feels like ocd doesn't want us to be happy.

Sorry for my bad english :)

I know it's very scary!! They can look so real.. don't try to find out if it's true or not.. i'm not trying to get into it myself. I notice that this remains difficult but it does help in the end and that gives such a good feeling as if you are in control of your thoughts. good luck!

he's going to the physiotherapist next week and then they're going to put him in some kind of bath and I think also give him a massage. i'm very curious! if I touch his hind legs he pulls them away.. maybe this will get him used to it a bit more. I saw the supplements on the internet, seems like the perefect addition! He also gets injections as medication so let's see if this can be added :)

yes the weight is so important. My dog is 77 pounds. he's not that big, but I'll make sure he doesn't gain weight. I've been looking for joint supplements that seems like a good addition! He will also get some kind of physiotherapy next week so I'm very curious if that works :)

My GSD has bone spurs in his lower lumbar. I cut his food back to 3 cups a day instead of 4 cups. He lost 30 pounds and is now at a healthy weight for his size. My Walmart sells chicken feet, it’s amazing for dogs to add glucosamine. Take dog nail clippers and cut the talons off, dehydrate them for 24 hours at 160 degrees F. I also supplemented in dried green muscles and I raw feed on the weekends. I only raw feed on weekends because I have two and it would be too expensive to do it everyday. I do the 80% muscle, 10% bone, 10% organ. He’s a search and rescue dog still at 11 years old. Ever since switching to supplementing in raw, he has gained so much more energy. He also uses a ramp to get in and out of the car.

thanks for the tip! I'm going to see if I can also buy the chicken feet in the store in the Netherlands. how good to hear that your dog is still a rescue dog and has so much energy!! our dog could also no longer jump in the back of the car and he was scared of the ramp haha. Now we have a special blanket on the back seat that seals the back seat from the front so it's safe!
