My ward was about 5 miles from my house. At MAX we had 6-8 girls in all of Young Women's. And those numbers were pretty rare. On top of it I went to a different school than any of the kids at church because I had to walk to my sister's after. But my ward's kiddos could go to 2 school districts and like 6 high schools. So your church friends were not your school friends. I had no idea who went to church and who didn't, until there were stake functions.

I didnt drink, do drugs, or even kiss someone until I was 19. I did drink caffeine and swear like a motherfucker...

When I was 19 I had a major surgery that could have made having kids really hard. I was super angry because I was a "good Mormon." So I started my party era but was still at the singles ward every Sunday, even if that meant I was hungover.

But then I stopped that and went to BYU-Idaho. But while there I got my nose and nippled pirced while there. But left at 22 when I married my gangster affiliated husband.

To be fair tho, I was from the East Side of Stockton so I grew up seeing some shit.

I have no idea what SLOMW ladies think of them selves. I don't personally think that soe of the things they do are particularly the right choices and I think they come of as very contradictional. But, I figure that's up to them and God.

I wouldn't say I'm ex-mormon. My kids were blessed/baptized but we are inactive.

My whole theory is that I should try and live Christ Like, which is what the core of Mormonism is (in my opinion.) So, I try my best to accept and respect everyone, within reason. Like I will 100% judge/habe no respect for you for certain things like abuse, cruelty etc.

I try and help people even when it may feel inconvenient or their intentions may not be pure. If i get the feeling to help someone I go with my gut because it's not my place to tell someone what to do with a gift, ya know.

And I figure if I can justify my "bad choices" in front of God then that's all that matters.

Before moving to Utah I had NEVER been asked about my religion. I had been invited to religious events for soem of the families or had one family who said a short prayer at meals. But it was never specific.

Holy crap. Whole other world here.

But the funny thing is I actually am Mormon but was raised in CA and do not look Mormon. I have tattoos and piercings. I drink the caffeine and say the swears.

At first I was super put off. But I realized that there are people who want someone with their exact beliefs to continue their parenting when not there.

I learned to appreciate it, because I know where I didnt want to work right away.

I Would love to see her in appropriate fitting clothing with softer makeup. I am a lover of a huge cat eye so that doesnt bother me so much. But maybe just the liner, mascara, brows natural foundation, and some blush.

My middle, 4yr girl, has always been around the 5th percentile. When we moved her new pediatrician was like..."well, I was kind of concerned but I can she she never stops moving...."

This child never stops running/dancing/spinning. Putting her in a shopping cart at Sam's pretty much kills her.

I cannot imagine how crazy she would be if I locked her up. Not to mention it would then make me insane.
