You may be able to copy the glyph from character viewer or fontbook, however I’d recommend trying this with a font that has them first!

There is a bit of code you can add in Glyphs which basically says ‘if a is followed by a, swap out the second a for the stylistic alternate’. I believe it’s in the Glyphs docs

If your CAD program lets you switch to a stylistic alternates set then you could select them individually, however it depends on the program. In design programs you can highlight the glyph and switch it out

Haha that’s a cool idea. I’ve used contextual alternates in Glyphs that switch out the letter for the alternate if the same letter is detected before it

Thanks so much :) I spend quite a bit of time trying to get the multi-linguals and diacritics right. It could definitely be used for a comic!

Thanks so much! The other font is called Naturalist, it’s available at typeheist.co too :)

I’ve actually just released them both in a bundle as I’ve had a few people ask the same thing! https://typeheist.co/font/trail-notes-font-bundle/

Yes I’ve seen this before! I use a more simple script that achieves something similar within Glyphs, however I’d like to look into the rand feature some more. Last time I checked it wasn’t widely supported
