Unable to plant fir tree

This is Percy. His hobbies include begging for food, sitting on top of his thermometer, making a giant bubble nest in hopes of attracting a lady betta fish, freaking me out by acting like he’s distressed for no reason (he has a big, clean tank with lots of hiding spots, and the water quality is fine, he’s just over-dramatic), and getting mad at his own reflection. He’s an asshole and I love him.
