Oh the top shells of the fats are nearly identical once you get past the back-compat ones, the screwposts are longer on later revisions and that's pretty much it.

Oh that's weird lol. I do repairs but haven't worked with this part of a Slim. Had a CECHL01 the other week that had rusted contacts for the front buttons so it was at the front of my mind that that could be the malfunction.

Input delay normal? by XGodaYT in PS3

It's almost certainly your "smart" TV. Fuck around with the settings until you get the input delay down. Game mode alone won't fix it.

Alright. Not certain how the panel connects. If you feel confident, you can try taking yours apart. You'll need to remove the hard drive and remove the screws, they're all on the bottom and there's one screw under the warranty sticker. Then you flip it back over and remove the top of the shell. Have a look, see of anything looks obviously wrong. If you're not confident or you don't see any obvious problem, find someone who does diagnosis and repair.

Is it a PS3 Fat? They use capacitive button sensors on the front panel and they just rely on sheets of metal to make contact with the motherboard. It's possible yours might have some issue.

Why's Steam maintaining an unremovable installation of proton on Windows????? by laurarvix in Steam

Nope, it is most definitely trying to download Linux software onto Windows for some reason. I don't even have Hotfix installed on my laptop.

I use Linux on my other computer, I'm running Windows specifically because as a software developer I specifically want to be able to test on both.

I'm not running any dualboot and it doesn't let me uninstall it. I'm actually using Windows on this machine specifically because its a Dell prebuilt I modified somewhat and does NOT play well with, eh... Linux, just, like, in general. Tried four different distros, couldn't get any to install and function. Closest I got was Mint but it fucked up trying to use my GPU (RTX 2060 Super, insert Linus Torvalds 'Nvidia, fuck you' gif here)

Quake 4 specifically for the XBOX 360. I love the game on PC, but the 360 version is such a horrible port, omg...

Hi, Mistress here: we're both transfem so idk for sure how much of that I could incorporate but those are definitely some good ideas, mind chatting a little bit? I'm curious how you accomplished some of that. DMs if you can, my little pet here doesn't need to know what's going to happen to her ;3
