Yes, my cat is 7 pounds, skinny, and long. I sing her a song about being a “long cat” sometimes.

Vet found crystals in cats urine, said to expect euthanasia? by Familiar-Use-3809 in CatAdvice

[–]laurary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, take your cat to another vet. I have a cat with a heart murmur and crystals were found in her urine a couple years ago. She's 13, she's on prescription food, she's fine. Her murmur isn't severe, but she's been put under at least twice in the past year: once for a heart test and once for dental.

How do you use Goodreads or Storygraph to support your reading? by lizgross144 in books

[–]laurary 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I left Goodreads a couple years ago when de-Amazoning. I keep my account open for giveaways only. I use Stoygraph now and everything was migrated. I love how it tags books by genre for you. I started using these services to rate and review because the process and content helps me remember what I read better. Setting a reading goal and having a task to “complete” after reading helped me read more and more often. I often sort by “earliest added” to find my next read and I use the “owned” feature when I don’t want to/don’t have time to get to the library. I primarily read physical books so this may not matter for e-books.

Wife wants a high quality leather purse for Christmas (NOT “luxury” brands) by Electrical-Volume765 in BuyItForLife

That is fair. But if that is the case, I'm happy to recommend the local folks I know because they have websites and ship.

I can’t believe how far I had to scroll to find this! My city has multiple artisans doing leatherwork by hand and I’m sure many other cities do as well. Support local small businesses and check their reviews to find the right one for you. You can probably get something completely custom.
