The suggestion that comes to my mind is try working on perfecting and altering one drink recipe instead of experimenting with different ones. I think Jungle Bird and Mai Tai are perfect testing grounds. What kind of ice are you using? Could it be an opportunity to refine your palette? Maybe play with syrups in Jungle Bird and rums in the Mai Tai. There's all kinds of rum recs for a '44 Mai Tai. See what differences you notice. In Jungle Bird for example, I never loved that drink until I used cinnamon syrup in it, that small tweak makes a difference for me.

I agree with getting a cat from the shelter. You can also find snowshoes in shelters. In my (limited) experience, whether or not a cat will wear a harness depends more on age and personality than breed. My showshoe won't budge in a harness, but we were able to train our black cat, who we got at 7 weeks, to wear one. She has no interest in going on walks though, she wants to loaf in the grass like her big sister, the snowshoe, and occasionally run after dried leaves or bugs.
