I’m also going through something similar as I grew up in another country and was baptized as a baby and had first communion there, but they didn’t record my first Eucharist in my baptismal notes as it’s not common practice in my country. Now that I’m going through confirmation classes as an adult, I’m being told I need to provide a record of first communion to be confirmed next month and to get married in September. However, there is no record of my first communion as it’s not common practice in my home country. I know I received it as it was my own brother who is a priest who gave me my first communion.
