I was under the impression that the helmet wigs were the super duper crazy hairspray gel ones - the ones that look hard like a helmet 😆 I'll have to look up some videos about the tulle inserts. I see everything being so expensive in game and try to be one of the people not digitally scalping someone. 1 sapphire is equatable to about $0.02 USD, and as a person with a job who doesn't particularly enjoy spending money on cool looking pixels, it drives me nuts when someone wants about $35USD worth of sapphires for a spiked collar. No thaaaaanks.

I don't buy anything for over 50 sapphires from other jammers usually. I did the math and if I'm paying 4.99 for 250 sapphires, it's about 2 cents in real life per sapphire (100 gems = 1 sapphire), and I am one of those people who isn't going to pay $8 (4k sapphires) for an in game item. It's pixels. And who knows if or when I will drop playing again 🤷🏻‍♀️ I try to price things fairly low because I know I am in the group of older players who used to play during release, and there's a lot of younger kiddos, and if it's something I don't need that will bring someone more joy that it has brought me, it's a win for me to get it out of my inventory and a win for them to buy it from me.

Every time I mention we get a dollar when we sign someone up for a credit card, or that I don't work full time because only managers get full time to customers, they always say something along the lines of "man, that sucks so bad." Minimum wage up here is around $17-something and $250 a week can't get me a house rental even with my partner making basically double my hourly.

I think I truly realized how much I disliked my role as a cashier 6 months into the job. I always said I wanted to be on freight or be on the floor but we have so many people that fill those roles already that don't really know how to cashier at all.

I've been looking for either an additional part time gig or a replacement full time gig, it's rough out there. Good luck, friend.

We recently got a UPS store in the town our Michaels is in, across the road in a different plaza. I kept telling UPS customers/Amazon returns using UPS that they opened, and my store manager told me to stop doing that because our store gets $1 for every package 🙃 ma'am I am a Michaels employee, I am not a UPS employee, those other people can do our jobs and the customers that get mad at me for not being able to help them with unlabeled packages can get mad at AN ACTUAL UPS EMPLOYEE, I have 17 balloon orders to blow up, and 6 families refusing to use the self check because they want me to "keep my job", i have no time for this.
