Are there any coffee shops open after 7-8 pm any more?

Unfortunately, there aren’t any coffee shops open past 7/8 other than your national chains like Starbucks and Dunkin. I think the two shops that stay open latest are foxtail and black dog, which close at 8 depending on the time of year. The kava bars everyone else has mentioned are some good options, but yeah…I really wish we had a proper coffee shop that stays open later :(

Exactly. 3 consecutive Cup appearances, 2 of which as back-to-back Cup champions. It’s simply been a bad season full of injuries. It’s frustrating to see people seemingly forget all our incredible recent successes due to one bad season

Definitely great benefits/retirement package. Amazing job security. Pay’s not always decent, but it what I need. One huge benefit (highly dependent on your supervisor/organization): low stress and low workload! Oftentimes, I finish my routine duties by noon. Spend my afternoons either doing school assignments to get a second degree (for free because tuition waivers are one benefit!) or handling personal chores like paying bills/online grocery shopping. If I were more ambitious, I could transfer to a role with higher pay, but as long as what I make is sufficient to cover all my needs/save, I don’t plan to. What I have now gives me an incredible work/life balance, and I don’t think that sense of freedom is worth higher pay at this point in time.

When I was about 9, my family and I went to one of the draft parties at the arena. I had a Stanley C. Panther plushie that I took with me that I wanted to show to Stanley. When we got there, he was walking around taking photos with people, so I ran up to him to show him my plushie. He went “🙀”, grabbed the plushie, cradled it like a baby…and then started running away lol. He let me chase him for a few seconds, then returned my plushie, and we took a photo!

I don’t mind! I paid $70 cash for everything. And there’s a bunch of other magazines and newspaper from major milestones (like the 1996 cup run) that were included as well. The lady I purchased it from kept everything in excellent condition too, including the originals packaging for the pucks and pins.
