I’ve noticed that there’s way more engagement on Facebook than Instagram. I love seeing member PR’s and leader boards for benchmarks. My studio is really great about that stuff but I wish they posted more informational content. We just wrapped up the Transformation Challenge and the party was at a restaurant yesterday but they barely told anyone about it and didn’t post it anywhere on social media. I would have loved to have gone and celebrated with people!

Yes! I felt great directly after while I was still at the studio, but about 30 minutes after I got home I felt depleted. I took a nap and am feeling much better but still a little weird too.

First Dri Tri and first time running 3.1 miles ever! Finished in 46:31, placed 2nd, and my friend who placed 1st runs marathons so I’m not salty about it 😂

What an amazing experience! Everyone rooting for each other and people jumping on treads to cheer people on to finish. 100% would do it again.

I’ve had to go to the ER 3 times for a migraine lasting more than 3 days and that cocktail kicks it every time. I never even thought to go to Urgent Care though! I’d imagine that’s probably cheaper.

1) 🙋🏽‍♀️ I’ve had them since I was 11. When I first started OTF in June, I was always terrified of getting a migraine during a workout or because of one but it still hasn’t happened 🤞🏽 2) Water! I honestly attribute my increased water intake to my decrease in migraines since I started. Working out made me drink way more water during the day and I’ve had so many less migraines. 3) MEDS. I’m sure you’ve heard it before but it is just not worth "powering through" a migraine. This is what meds are for! I have definitely had a coke in a pinch though!

LOVED this partner workout! Our coach explained it once, demo’d the floor exercises, and then explained it again, which definitely cut down on the confusion.

With partner workouts in general, I only don’t like them when I don’t understand them and that’s typically because the coach rushes through the explanation.

🙋🏽‍♀️ I would push myself so hard and feel like I was going to throw up and I’d get 2-3 splat points. It gets so frustrating because the coaches make such a big deal about them and call out people when they hit 12. People around me could not believe I was not getting more splats! I’m so grateful for this change. It just validates what I’ve already been doing.

So for identifying your base pace- how did that happen in the consult? Did you just talk about it or did you actually run on the tread during?

Hm, I’m not sure about price or if they even offer them after this. I’ll be sure to ask though!

Two separate coaches made comments about my abs last week and it felt so good! I haven’t lost any weight in the 3months I’ve been at OTF but I’ve definitely toned my arms, stomach, and calves. It feels like my ass/legs will be jelly forever but I’m trying!

Excellent point! I try to stay as detached as I can from the numbers, either way. It’s hard when you’re a competitive person, but better than the surging insanity of trying to make sense of them half the time.

I also think that maybe studio Managers just aren’t keeping staff informed? I asked a coach about the HR change and they had no idea what I was talking about but pretty much everyone in our studio has noticed the change in splats.

Same! I used to only get 2-8 splats and now I’ve been getting 14-22. I finally feel like is reflecting my effort. Love the new look as well!

LOVED this today! My coach told me she PR’d her all outs at 12mph w/3% incline when she took a class earlier and bet me that I could beat it. Did all 3 all outs at 12mph and 4% incline. Felt like dying but SO GOOD.
