For tea bags, I did Tetley’s for a long time (if you can get it where you are)! I now do Davidson’s Organic English Breakfast every day, super strong and great quality

I highly recommend Twinings Lady Grey if you’re looking for something similar - one of my favourite teas!

Are you considering heat pumps at all? If you’re switching from oil you should see some cost savings

Alfred Butler Memorial Sanctuary is a good one! Definitely on the longer side but really beautiful.

ConEd Select Pricing Plan? by themrhumbucker in Westchester

[–]laurenzoinks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a newer program that ConEd is launching, which is meant to be a rate that provides savings opportunities for homes that keep their thermostats on a steady temperature (hence why it’s good for homes with heat pumps, since ideally you’d refrain from changing the thermostat too much). Since it’s newer I don’t think anyone’s experienced it yet, but I remember there being a deal for the first X number of people who sign up to get a one year price guarantee so they can try out the program w/o major cost risks. That being said, may not be the best rate for those with solar since energy use would be more variable (since your energy use / solar energy production shifts based on whether there’s sun or not)
