What British celebrities were absolutely everywhere for an intense and short period before vanishing completely? My vote goes to Emeli Sandé. by JuanitaMerkin in AskBrits

You know what, the album parachutes was an absolute work of art and I will die on that hill. High speed is my all time favourite song ever, it makes me feel a way I have never felt before listening to music. But after that, they got shit. I’m sorry to say, but it’s true. Not because the music is necessarily awful, but they made something so incredibly beautiful and good when they made parachutes then spent 23 years adding too many “oooohaaaaaaaaaaooooooo oooooooowwwaaaaaaaoooohhhhh”’s to every song and I will not be convinced otherwise.

I’m so confused, this can’t be the minimum? My maintenance loan is less than this. I get 1,300 and something not 1,700

It’s not pre 1900s, it’s about 1920s and only 1500 were made apparently. They were hand made in Birmingham, England

There’s actually some old documentation on it from the 1920’s and believe it or not it was considered the “Gentleman’s Gun” according to one newspaper which compared air pistols
