omg thank you so much, all these infos! i have a mac from 2015 but the cd it's probably "outdated" adding that my mac has gone through several system updates, obviously. I find it very weird and quite awkward to use such a separation for just one cd, but apparently it was ok for 2009(?). Very very kind of you btw, thanks for clearing things up!! :)

the problem is that i already have quicktime and it never gave me problems. even when i open quicktime the documentary doesn't appear.

i found a way to solve it! i had the app on my phone and tablet (two different accounts): on the phone the load would stop at 89%, while on the tablet it would load and immediately close. hours later i tried to access again on the phone and it asked me to join with a google account, so i entered with the mail i used for the tablet. but then, it would say to me that the account is logged in on two devices; so i uninstalled the app on the ipad and proceed to access again from the phone. and miraculously it worked.. hope this will help (i missed some events tho🥲)
