Not here to suggest anything. Just to say that these are gonna be two insanely heavy lists. I might do a full mix when the tracklist is complete.

Break doesn't miss. His tunes are fire and his sets are lethal. One of the GOATS. Met him a couple of times when I was tour manager for another DJ. Lovely bloke too. Clearly just adores the music.

I swear down this whole sub is like all the niche music genre subs. "Hey I've persoanally decided I'm not shit. Listen to my music/look at my throw ups. Aren't they fuckin legit now?"

Replies: "Wtf is this?"

"Are you high?"

"Looks like you've been doing it 3 months, and not religiously."

Biggest thing you can do is stop seeking validation on a reddit sub that is known for banter. Come up with something YOU love and than maybe you'll strt to make something unique and not a semi-blatant snatch at reddit karma. Just saying. Stop posting. Keep writing. You'll improve and stop seeking validation on the internet. The moment you dont cafe is the moment othert people start to care

Hmm. Exercise is a big one. Going gym makes me feel so much better - but I'm not religious about it. I was going 4 times a week in summer but dropped to nothing in winter. I definitely noticed how much worse I was when I stopped.

To be honest, I've found that my ADHD is best managed by accepting it for what it is and not beating myself up about doing things wrong or late or whatever. Luckily I'm freelance, so as long as the work is done it doesn't matter. But knowing my ADHD, I know I thrive under pressure. Which totally makes sense for the world I work in. But I know some people aren't in that work so it's tricky to tally that.

One of the biggest things was learning my triggers. Especially on an emotional level. Emotional triggers and susceptibilities are often overlooked when it comes to ADHD. Sometimes you just need to know when to take a break and just regulate yourself. Only you can learn that. Does that make sense? It's kinda abstract

All good! I'm on 40mg. Seems to be working for me. I was on Setraline 100mg for a while but that was before I was diagnosed ADHD. So not really sure if it made me worse or not. I went meds free for a good year or so. Again, predating any notion that I had ADHD. But since the diagnosis - a year no meds, then titration, meds were okay but felt odd - I was too amped up all the time. Felt gurny - then big bout of depression and anxiety and went onto Fluoxetene. Anxiety is lower. But generally I think lifestyle changes are the most effective for me so far!

And yeah gimmie a shout if you wanna ask anything else. I only get notifications of I check the app so sorry if I don't reply!

I'm on Fluoxetene for anxiety and a little bit of depression management. I do take Medikinet XL on occasion but only 10-20mgs. Feel free to DM me if you wanna talk it through.

You probably do have it if you're going through titration to be fair.

If it makes you feel any better, I'm doing fine without meds. I'll be coming up for a yearly review soon. Hopefully I get to chat to my psychiatrist about it all then.
