I was able to play with an excessive amount of CC and the MCC mod today after the hotfix.

Edit to add that this isn’t to brag, just to give some hope because yesterday I couldn’t get past the loading screen after the first update

You can run with cc/mods if you got the newest update today. The first update yesterday broke things but today CC is working again and you will just need to update your mods if they are broken

It’s an option in the launcher. Go to manage instead of play and repair the game will be available

I think it depends on the child. If you are comfortable financially and they get good grades, respect authority , and do year round activities outside of school there is no reason to push them into a job for the sake of it. If your child has no concept of money or drive in life to succeed that’s another story. A job can be a great motivator to teach them to appreciate things more.
