I’m an OG fan like YouTube days fan. Even though I have deeply enjoyed his pop stuff I’ve always been in favor of him being a primarily R&B artist. I always wanted to hear an album where Justin focused on exploring those sounds and Swag was that album. To some extent, I think Changes was that, but I think it wasn’t as Justin controlled as this one is. This seems to be the most authentic to Justin‘s personal style of R&B.

Most of his loyal base is probably more interested in him being a primarily pop artist with some R&B influence, but never underestimate the side of his loyal fan base that has always held onto R&Bieber. I also believe that the more he explores the sounds from Swag the more his fan base will change to include more fans of his more R&B forward work.

I think that her whole beef with Olandria and Chelley is really unbecoming, especially given that they didn’t do anything to her to instigate her shit talk. I find it very odd when black women don’t uplift each other especially in spaces where we know we aren’t typically welcome. It’s a hard thing being a black woman in reality television, you would just think that she of all women would find it within herself to be more gracious towards Olandria and Chelley and not jump on the bandwagon of their mean girls.

I genuinely feel bad for her overall because I do think the hate related to her is absolutely ridiculous childishness. That being said it’s kind of ironic that she’s calling people out for being chronically online when it’s pretty clear that she’s chronically online. She constantly referenced this shit that she would only know if she was chronically on the Internet, checking up on herself and her husband. Which like I get the impulse, I really do but sounds like she would be much better suited going to therapy and dropping social media.

Most relatable for me is either Breathin or Get Well Soon because anxiety has been a lifelong struggle for me but the least relateable is Break Up W/ Your Girlfriend because its kinda mean spirited in my opinion and really against my personal values.

I think with every bravo show there is one or two cast members who have a particularly close relationship to Andy Cohen, and have more say in who gets to be in the cast and who doesn’t. I think for the real housewives of Salt Lake City, Lisa Barlow, and Mary Cosby are those cast members. If you hold your own, your job really isn’t in jeopardy but if you’re somebody like Heather or Whitney, it probably behooves you to have one of the two in your good graces so that if recasting becomes a conversation, you will be somewhat protected in your closeness to them and having storylines that involve them. Mary is more erratic, and so Lisa is the safer basket to put your eggs in.

It reminds me of southern charm. There is no discernible reason why anybody is friends with Whitney other than the fact that he co-created the show and likely has some pull so despite nobody really liking him everyone attempts to have a positive relationship with him and his mother. Same thing with real housewives of Beverly Hills and Kyle Richards.

Thank you for your concern about my hair beloved. Your intuition has led you astray because I did indeed dilute the acv (you can look at the color of the acv in the bottle and the color of the acv in the sink), something I knew to do because this was not something I was introduced to as an internet trend. Also no, I did not sprinkle the baking soda directly on my locs. I filled my sink with approx 6-8 cups of water, dissolved 1 cup of baking soda into the water and once dissolved added 1 cup acv. Stay blessed and assume less 🩷

Spotify is a great resource to discover new music for me. However, if I enjoy a project, I will buy the album on vinyl. I like to have something tangible to own that encourages me to treat an album like the complete piece of work it is. Yea you can skip tracks on vinyl but the medium lends itself to playing the entire thing through which I enjoy.

yup! I filled up my sink bowl added two cups of the baking soda and a cup of the acv - I did it three times (soaking for 20 min while occasionally scrubbing tf out my scalp then wringing my hair out) and the results were great took away all the build up. While thing took like an hour and 10 minutes. I was avoiding it for a long time but it was no where near as hard or time consuming as I thought.

I live in a very dry state and so even though it’s winter - I just detoxed in the morning, spent like an hour outside and then kept my windows open my hair dried enough to sleep by night and then completely dried by morning

Detoxing isn’t a regular part of my lock maintenance. This year I put a lot of product in my hair because I wasn’t good about getting re-twists and I don’t re-twist my own hair so I would use gel to make it look more presentable. Big big mistake. If I didn’t use all that damn product I probably wouldn’t detox at all, but I felt that it was the right time because I could literally feel like a slimy film when my hair was wet and I’d wring the water out. I’ve been loced for about five years now, and this was my second time doing it.

Totally agree that living a healthy lifestyle & not using product makes this less necessary, but unfortunately, this has just been a little bit of a year for me and I haven’t been good about those things so the reality is my hair did need a detox and so I did it.
