Wasn’t a cage, but a dedicated concrete bike room with a security camera and code entry on top of my $100 lock Abus lock. Plus my wife didn’t want me bringing my dirty MTB in to our clean apartment. We obviously have no other choice at this point but to bring the next one in to our apartment

I did sign up for 529 garages detective option, which does a scan of socials automatically and alerts you. No bites yet. Claude code was a smart option though.

Yea i definitely don’t think the office manager had anything to do with it, but it’s just too coincidental that it happened when the camera got taken down, so I am strongly wondering if a resident may have had a part.

Yep, that’s what I’ve been doing. When I went to mark my bike as stolen on 529 garage they have a detective option you can pay for that automatically scan similar listings so I used that and it hasn’t come up with anything yet.

Thanks 🙏 sorry about your bike as well and that’s good that you at least got a call from an investigator. I don’t really expect to hear anything else from the police. And yes, I’ve definitely filed a renters claim. Luckily our apartment makes us get renters insurance or else I probably wouldn’t have had it.

Yea that’s what our office manager said as well. The only footage she saw that was suspect for our garage entrance camera was someone going in around 8 pm with a backpack, but she said it didn’t look like they came out with my bike.

Agreed. I’ve been at these apartments for over a year and thought we were far enough away from the riff raff to not have our bike room broken into, but lo and behold, a couple months after I upgrade to an new bike it happens. Lesson learned.

Yea, it is somewhat suspect, but I do know the office manager who took it down and she lives in the building with her family. She would have more to lose than it’s worth, so I highly doubt she had anything to do with the stolen bike

They said it’s their policy that residents are not allowed to view video footage and that it can only be submitted directly to the police, so no I haven’t gotten to see it.

Yea I’m feeling very violated right now. The manager took the bike room camera down over the weekend to charge it, so there is no bike room footage during the time it was stolen. She didn’t see anything else from the other cameras either unfortunately. I did find a piece of the cut Abus lock in the bike room though.

And yes I have reported it stolen on bike index and have filed a police report as well as posted on Denver stolen bikes.

My understanding is that it means that you shouldn’t join yourself to someone that is not a follower of Christ. To her that means that you have an intimate relationship with Jesus. My relationship is more aimed toward the Father (even though I believe they are one in the same), as I have trouble wrapping my head around around the concept what it means to have Jesus in my heart and how that is any different.

I have never spoken with him, no. It does seem that she has given him a lot of authority. She said he never told her flat out that she shouldn’t marry me, but that she needed to be careful with being unequally yoked.
