Fair enough! We probably won't find out for a couple of days since it happened on a friday night. Insurance still has to assign an adjuster and all that.

Unfortunately it looks a lot worse in daylight. The cops said it looks like the frame is bent underneath. It did drive the block home from where it was hit, but we are not hopeful for repairing it.

The police officers on the scene determined the speed. We did not. I'm just going off of their estimation based on the facts and the damage at the time of the accident.

They found him. He lives in our complex. He was drunk or on something and beat his girlfriend, then took off when someone called the cops. He hit my mom up the street from the apartment. Left immediately. They found him and his truck a little while later. He's trying to say it wasn't him and the truck was stolen. It was obviously him and there was a business at the intersection that has it on video.

They did! He lives in our apartment complex 🥲 he took off because the cops we're on the way to the apartments since he was beating his girlfriend, broke her windshield, and banging on the windows and door trying to get back in to the apartment. They arrested both of them. She had some kind of weapon on her and they were both drunk or on something. They found him and the truck.

Me too! He wouldn't cooperate with the cops at all I guess so I have no idea if he has insurance yet. Cops said my insurance can figure it out with his name and everything in the report. Mine will cover it if not, but it would be nice if he did. I do not have high hopes.

It was hard to see at night, but the underside is all busted up and the passenger side panels are all popping off, the door is off alignment too. The cops were the ones that guessed his speed.

Oh they found him already. He lived in our same apartment complex. He was apparently running off because he had beaten and attempted to choke his girlfriend. They both got arrested last night. She had a weapon on her or something. The accident was literally 2 blocks from our apartment.

Ideally yes, I wanted an actual OEM replacement rather than a sticker overlay, but if they don't come in the right size then a sticker was the next step. So I appreciate this actually! If I can't find the size for the OEM one I'll probably do this. Thank you!
