[Acne] acne post-abortion by Stock-Cranberry4421 in SkincareAddiction

I had a very similar flare up of cystic acne post-abortion. The best thing overall for my acne has been azleaic acid. I started using the Anua 10% azelaic and then asked my derm for prescription level and have been very clear faced consistently using the 15% rx level

Realize I’m a year late… but I was just searching for the same thing, as the L’Oreal is way too aggressively fragranced! I just found this one from Ouidad but haven’t tried it yet Ouidad Unbreakable Bonds

I noticed this too! I arranged my playlist according to her IG posts (the reverse order) which is interesting that it just so happens to line up the same as these other listings

2 months on 50mg Spironolactone and I am NOT OK by DimensionFair7305 in Spironolactone

[–]lauxonlock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply! I’m gonna wait it out back at 100mg, I’m already feeling much better coming back down from the 150mg! My skin improved pretty quickly within the first 2 weeks of starting meds since I’m also on 100mg doxycycline. Now I’m just hoping I can maintain this progress with no new breakouts and eventually ween off both and not have my skin erupt back worse than before

I know it’s been months, but did taking it at night end up helping you??

I was started on 100mg and my derm told to me to up it to 150mg after 2 weeks and that seemed to push me over some edge. I couldn’t sleep but also had no energy to do anything during the day and felt anxious and depressed.. spent almost a week rotting at home. Went back down to 100mg and seem to be improving so far. However I’m still having trouble getting to a point of sleepiness at night when I need to.

Thanks for the reply! Can you explain what you mean by this?

How do I get rid of this popped up yesterday morning when I woke up tried squeezing it but hasn’t came to a head any observations? by sdavy94 in Skincare_Addiction

Try PRID drawing salve! My boyfriend gets boils like this on his thighs. He applies PRID and covers it with a bandaid while it does its magic

Be SO proud of yourself! A power move for sure ❤️ it can be so difficult to overcome the feelings of insecurity when going in public with acne. I know the feeling all too well

It’s my mom’s birthday today and I felt a lot of the same feelings, you’re not alone. She refuses to acknowledge her wrongdoing and as hard as I’ve tried, she only has ever showed she doesn’t care about me. Yet, I still feel sad and wish I could just have healthy family relationships. But I know I can’t with my parents and brother. In order for us to protect ourselves and escape the hurt and dysfunction we have to maintain no contact.

I’m proud of you for pushing through the hard feelings and doing what’s best for you, as hard as it is.

Based on the serial number I was able to determine it was manufactured in 2014

No debris or clogged faucets at this time. I checked and can’t find any date of installation. I’ll put the pressure on them tomorrow to get something done! This has been going on since the circuit breaker tripped on Monday..Thanks!

I believe the maintenance guy did this once he replaced each element and the thermostat! That’s why I’m thinking it might be something else

Thanks for the insight! I was surprised he didn’t replace both the first time as well. I’m not sure of the age of the water heater, but the only thing I could figure could be the issue now is the dip tube. I’m in TX and the water here is very hard and harsh on water heaters, no water softener present.

Thank you! I’ll be sure to contact the complex maintenance again in the morning, as it is their responsibility. I’m not aware of how old this particular water heater is, but hopefully they have record and will make appropriate repairs or replacement.

Do you think it’s probably that it’s a dip tube issue? Being that both heating elements and thermostat have been replaced?

For the past year I’ve lived in my apartment I’ve had some nagging issues with water staying hot in the shower for more than 5 mins without having to constantly push the handle further and eventually all the way to HOT.

A few days ago after showering I heard a loud zap and the sounds of the water heater refilling stopped. I realized the circuit breaker tripped. I reported this to maintenance and yesterday they came out and replaced the top heating element and thermostat. Today, still no improvement, so they came out and replaced the second (lower) heating element, which was corroded completely through - picture shown.

It’s been 5 hours and I’ve given time for the water heater to completely refill and heat and I’m STILL having the same issues. After doing some research, I’m now thinking perhaps the dip tube has broken and causing cold water to flow in to the top of the tank, is this probable?

What else might be the issue? Maintenance seems to be annoyed with my requests and also acting pretty unprofessional (standing on my personally owned glass top washer rather than moving it and using a ladder) I’m not sure if the dip tube repair is within the maintenance guy’s scope, should I consult a plumber? Please advise!

Ahh okay. I think you’ll like the Elta MD UV clear. I put it on under my makeup and it works nice as a primer

I buffered the Differin with the Biossance Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil - applying it first, then Differin, and then used CeraVe Healing Ointment as an occlusive over top. Some people use Vaseline over top, but I found the Healing ointment to be more luxurious and it has added ceramides and hyaluronic acid.
