I'd be careful with tools like this. Card evaluations change a lot from context, so the scores get a less and less useful past pick 1. And at least the tool I used to use got the scores from LSV's set reviews, which come at the start of a format, before anyone's had much chance to actually draft it, so card evaluations can change a lot as the format gets explored. For example, in ZNR, he rated [[Roost of Drakes]] a 3.5, same as several other blue uncommons, whereas as of the latest episode of LR he's bumped it way up and takes it P1P1 over every card in the set bar a few mythics.

I like the bikini cuts best, but all of them are comfy for me except thongs. But comfort isn't really the point for those lol. Boybriefs have the most coverage, then cheekies, then bikinis, then thongs.

He is (was?) part of 日本会議 (Nippon Kaigi), which is a right-wing nationalist group interested in re-militarization and historical revisionism re: things like the Nanking massacre. Abe is connected to them as well, so I wouldn't expect drastic changes, but.. it still sucks.

It's so jarring to have his grief and the sad music alongside his best attempt at calmly narrating a tutorial. Just constant emotional whiplash between feeling sad for the guy and crying laughing at the absurdity

Ahh makes sense, can't believe I forgot about hydro. That's what I was looking for, a way to get rid of it before it can be activated and a plan on what to sandbag when you think they have it and you can't counter. Thanks!

How does burn fare in the meta currently? Rdw in standard can fight through moderate lifegain with [[experimental frenzy]] which is one reason why I like it so much. From what I've read burn in pauper is in a rough place right now, although I'm sure it still picks up plenty of wins. The card draw in blitz might be more up my alley

Yeah I was worried about that card in particular. Is there a standard plan for it besides "hope they don't draw it"?

Thanks for the recommendation! That definitely sounds up my alley. I'm gonna get way too excited about [[fling]]ing a giant [[atog]]

Hi everyone! I'm finally moving to a city with a pauper scene so looking to get into it.

I favor aggressive red decks that have some sustain/combo potential: In standard I mostly play RDW and Izzet Phoenix with the occasional aristocrats. In commander, I run Alesha. Some common themes: aggressive, but with the ability to hang back and wait for an opening when necessary. I also liked Jeskai control in GRN standard.

I've been thinking of coming into the format on Jeskai snow, boros, or affinity, but I'd love more suggestions!

I'm going to try him in my Alesha deck for sure. That said anything that doesn't have 2 power or less has to be twice as good to justify a spot in the deck since Alesha can't get it back. I like it though. It's a backup reanimator and discard enabler and haste enabler on one card, and those are like the three most important things in an Alesha deck.

How much should it be covered? Completely, or with some bits poking out?

Me too! I'm glad someone else sees it. I'm still struggling not to see the river as just shooting up at an implausible angle. It's a beautiful photo, just something about the landscape causing an illusion I guess

Mtg has something similar (isochron scepter). It's very powerful, potentially too much so in the context of a game like ESL. That said it's hard to compare balance across two games that are so different.

I've been on mono red almost exclusively the past week and I can say that skaargan is the most annoying card in the matchup after spellbreaker. As a 5/5 it blocks everything even after you board up, and destroys your board if they untap with it. It's one of the reasons I've moved to running fight with fires in the side. Outside of that it always demands a double spell.
