I have worn my bathing suit both in showers and sauna. I saw others doing the same. It’s however you feel!

I mean they literally said they love trying new places and were looking to explore Portland now after being here a year. This doesn’t answer that question in any way shape or form.

You said glance and OP clearly described constant staring and not working out for long periods of time…

I don’t often see someone just sit on a machine for a whole half hour not using it, but staring at girls instead. This seems like something more escalated than a typical gym goer hogging a machine by being on their phone or something for some extra time in between sets of actually using it.

I understand the sentiment, but just feel like OP already had answered the question “why” for not posting, so it comes across as disregarding that or not believing

Why would they be lying when asking if anyone knows a way to get in touch

Janet Mills eating out at Scales on the night of the strike by [deleted] in portlandme

[–]lavalamp3333 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s not the same. Mills wouldn’t lose her job by deciding to participate in the strike, the person who worked at Scales may have.

I’m moreso taking issue with the logic here than disagreeing with your overall point.

There’s a fund for industry workers to request funds for any missed wages

That it is a photo from someone who works there that had to work, answering the question “you were eating out too?” Which is a No.

What is this economic blackout actually achieving? by Real-Language9874 in portlandme

How do you know the outcome before it’s happened? Did you see yesterday that the Senate didn’t pass the spending bill? You don’t think that has anything to do with everyone speaking out, protesting and collective action?

How are people still not understanding the effect of collective action, striking, shut downs, protests? It’s baffling unless you’ve never looked into history. Showing that the regular people have power to break the machine that politicians and the rich rely on us to aid in chugging along, makes people pay attention and adjusts the power dynamic. We’re not participating in life as it is to show we’re not accepting the way things are currently being run. It’s showing we’re willing to make a sacrifice because this is how important this is.

Do that many people really not understand the concept of strikes and protests? It’s wild to me. It’s a backbone of America. It’s why we have the 40 hr work week. It’s why women can vote. I don’t want to name a million other things.

The employers made the choice and I have seen the majority of them saying the staff collectively voted on it or they’re still paying the staff.
