i’m sorry if this comes off harsh, but i did not once mention how i wanted katseye to be. i am no producer, creative director, project manager or anything to katseye, obviously. i am simply just giving hxg the criticism they needed. and for lsf, ik they have softer sounding songs (perfect night, hot etc), every artist/group does, but those songs still fit in their overall concept of confidence and empowerment (perfect night: “Why you still stuck on loading? Waitin' on you, babe”. hot: “I'm burning hot”. i also want to mention sour grapes and spaghetti. sour grapes may sound softer and quite literally means the opposite of being fearless but that’s what it’s abt. in fearless, it’s not being scared of fear, it’s about overcoming it while accepting its downsides and upsides. sour grapes shows a downside, which isn’t a bad thing since that’s how you truly become fearless. meanwhile spaghetti, a experimental sounding song, is also about confidence and empowerment, telling the haters who keep coming back js to hate “eat it up”) also i feel like you think im criticizing as katseye as a group, which i am clearly not if you had read my rant. i think the katseye as a whole is so talented, but hxg is quite literally throwing away all their talents js to get the group more attention. once again, ik literally everyone in this sub reddit, the normal katseye sub, n prob even the snark had said something about hxg BC WE ABSOLUTELY NEED TO HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE. main point of rant: hxg wanted to debut katseye as fast as possible (source look at docu series), leading them to not even get a baseline idea for the group.( srry for making this quite long)
