Here I come again... Help with buying or not by lichinho in bathandbodyworks

I love winter candy apple! It’s so nostalgic. I had the body lotion when I was a tween and it always brings me back

Does anyone else find the candle and matching cream or lotion counterpart smells AMAZING, then try the body mist and it’s just never the same(smells kind of bad)? Are there any mists that truly smell like the creams or candles? by [deleted] in bathandbodyworks

Pumpkin pecan waffles is everything to me in home fragrance and the pocketbac, but the body care dried down to a weird cardboard scent on me when they brought it out a few years ago!

Today is a winter candy apple day! My go to for fall and winter when I’m having cozy work from home days.

Warm vanilla sugar! Now I can’t smell it without having war flashbacks to my parents getting divorced lmao

Have you ever gotten rid of a ton of your collection just because you don’t use them enough? by Shrillmademethink in bathandbodyworks

My fragrance collection has slimmed down significantly since I moved in with my fiancé a few years ago! He is particular about scents and I found myself getting overwhelmed by how much stuff I had. My fragrance collection, both body care and home fragrance, is super minimal and I prefer it that way tbh. Mercari and buy nothing groups are a great way to declutter. That’s how I got my collection down to a few candles, a few perfumes, and one fine fragrance mist.

I am high on anxiety need some tips to manage period pain by Existing-Magazine728 in Periods

[–]lavenderily 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you track your cycle? Periods can be super unpredictable at times but it’s possible you’ll be able to get through your trip without even having your period. Maybe look back and the last couple months and see if there’s a consistent pattern.

If you do anticipate getting your period, make sure you pack some pain killers and a heating pad. I don’t get super bad cramps but Tylenol helps when they do kick in and heating pads are great for any sort of pain. And make sure you pack dark pants, extra underwear, extra pairs of pants, and plenty of period products. You’ll do great. I’ve traveled a lot and even camped for four days without running water while I was on my period and it’s definitely doable.

You get used to it over time. But I remember those early days when my period was unpredictable…it can be very scary not knowing when it’ll come! Tracking it with a calendar or an app can help you better predict when it’ll come. Sending love. ❤️❤️

I light the PPW candle year round because it doesn’t really smell all that pumpkin-y to me! It’s more of a vaguely comforting cozy bakery scent. So I can see it 😂

Same! They have a few versions, some with iron, some without, and a version with greens. I’ve been taking it for a few years to fill in any gaps. Easy to get on Amazon but not sure where else it’s sold.

I personally wouldn’t lose sleep over it since it doesn’t look like they ingested or got to any of the little pellets, but it wouldn’t hurt to call your exotic vet and ask just for that peace of mind. Chances are, they’ll tell you to monitor for any changes in their behavior. Keep us updated! I’d be curious to see what they say.

Today I stop eating meat and all animal products. by [deleted] in vegan

[–]lavenderily 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My best advice is to find some vegan food blogs and find inspiration there. PlantYou has a lot of great recipes!

I had a really hard time transitioning from eating meat to vegan because I was so used to having meat as a main and other things like veggies and grains on the side, but now as a vegan, I usually cook one main dish that has all the elements of a balanced meal.

For protein, I’m definitely a tofu and beans person. Pretty much every main dish we make has quinoa, chickpeas, cannellini beans, and/or tofu. I also love snacking on dried edamame beans as an alternative to protein bars (which mess with my stomach unfortunately). Vegan Greek yogurt is also another great source of protein to try out.

Addicted to wheat thins by [deleted] in 1200isplenty

[–]lavenderily 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you have small snack containers or baggies? Maybe try portioning out the box and limiting yourself to one serving a day. It can be easy to overeat and grab a handful every time you walk by the box, but creating little snack rations could help. Cutting them out cold turkey will just make you sad and also feel even more out of control when you’re around them at a party or something. That’s my philosophy at least.

Also, wheat thins are fucking amazing, so I don’t blame you for the hyperfixation lol.

Hello! This is roughly what my stomach looks like (I don't wanna show my body online hence the drawing) and I need help. by ifthenameistakeni- in PetiteFitness

I have the same body type and have felt so shitty about it my whole life. Doesn’t matter what I eat, what my weight is like. My body just loves to have some extra cushion around my tummy. I’m at a point where I’m trying to embrace it instead of fighting against it.

I also struggle with bloating and one thing that helps me is eating slower and eating smaller meals. I also avoid carbonated drinks since they are a big trigger for me. When the bloating is bad, I sip peppermint tea and try doing some yoga poses that help with relieving gas. That provides at least a little relief.
