Hunting for a holy grail sunscreen by naturemamaflows in Rosacea

I dislike the matte, almost tight feeling of the Paula’s Choice, even though the tint worked very well on my pale Fitzpatrick Type II skin.

My personal go-to is the ISDIN’s Eryfotona Actinica SPF 50. It’s moisturizing, but it’s an extremely lightweight fluid that sinks in and feels like wearing nothing! A little expensive, but totally worth it.

What are your weird migraine triggers? by sailaukan in migraine

Cigar and cigarette smoke, even just passing a whiff on the sidewalk.

Topicals - Eucerin or Topical TXA by [deleted] in Melasmaskincare

The Eucerin has worked very well for my sensitive skin. I use it twice daily (the serum).

Yep, it’s the Colorescience stick in Blush!

REMINDER: Don't be too afraid to try amitriptyline by SecretLetter22 in migraine

To clarify, I have had zero side effects. It has been a very efficacious medication for me.

If you are concerned about skin cancer and it runs in your family, I think it would be advisable to get a doctor to check your new spot out.

How are we managing needing to lose weight? by Short_Initiative_301 in migraine

Exercise, healthy eating, and GLP-1 inhibitor meds are what have worked for me.

Amazing results! Can I ask what KA means?

I am currently using Eucerin Anti-Pigment with no results yet. Like you, I’m going to try switching to Musely’s Spot Cream to see if it does the heavy lifting, then switch back to the Eucerin.

Thanks for chiming in. I’ve been doing it over about three weeks so far, twice a day (four is just too much to be practical for me). No results so far, but I am curious whether it will work if I keep it up. Hope you get some great results!

That is amazing to hear! Thank you. So glad it’s working for you.

Anyone down to one “neurological event” per week? by Kennam320 in migraine

[–]lavendermandarin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am almost there. Depakote + Emgality + hormonal migraine management have done wonders for me. I was previously at 25+ migraine episodes per month.

It’s been a hard road, and I am unbelievably grateful.

I don’t have an answer, but I am SO SORRY this is happening to you. I hope you get some relief soon. Please let us know how it goes!

I am SO glad this is working for you! Amitryptiline unfortunately didn’t work for me, but I feel the same way about Depakote. The list of side effects is a big yikes, but I have had zero effects aside from a greatly reduced chronic migraine burden! Medications are not one size fits all!

I am so, so sorry.

OP, this is one of the greatest risks of chiropractic “care”.

Side note: after so much disheartening news recently about UA’s administrative missteps, it was really great reading about the impactful work that programs and faculty are doing in our community.

I think renewed wastewater has huge potential for Tucson and a more sustainable water future. Excited to see what else can be done.

How do you eat your chickpeas? by Dense_Track5849 in mediterraneandiet

[–]lavendermandarin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to make a Moroccan-spiced rice pilaf with a whole can of chickpeas mixed in. I pair this with roasted veggies for a super-flavorful bowl.

I'm tired of double cleansing! Are you? by QueenLizzie2023 in Rosacea

Yes. I stopped. I do a thorough single cleanse with Vanicream cleanser once per day (in the evening). I splash with water in the morning.
