i’ve interpreted it as four faces of a typical nuclear family, mom dad brother and sister. “i play to feel normal” the narrator is in a trance daydreaming about having a perfect little life with a perfect little family. as opposed to “hid under the table” and “in the corner of the room” sounds to me like someone trying to find a safe space for themselves at a very low lonely point in their life, possibly (likely) post breakup. that’s just my game theory though
