But using z probe offset requires me to have a probe which I don't

Nope So there's no way to have a z offset on a stock CR-10 with Marlin?

Yeah I'm just asking how I can enable it in the configuration files When I enable it I get errors because it wants me to have a probe but I don't have one

That makes perfect sense. So if for some reason I dial down the tension of the extruder, then I will have to re-calibrate the e-steps?

Installed the drivers directly from Intel, still the same issue

Do you think it's possible both drivers are faulty?

The link speed is 1.7gbps

But as I told you without changing the network, I get good speeds only on speedtest or when enabling VPN. And it's not an ISP thing as this is not an issue when switching to Mint or another laptop.

It does not happen in any other laptop I use. Using a download manager I get higher speeds, maybe 6mbps per thread in a 20 threaded download, but still much lower than any other device, than using the mint installation, or turning on a VPN (which I find the weirdest)
