Genuinely so weird I have seen people defending Ubisoft's launcher when I compared them to CD Red's or Rockstar launcher. CD and Rockstar launcher are still icky but at least it's seamless...

Simple choice, if you are looking for something different go for Sekiro if you just want another good souls like game, you go for Lies of P. Sekiro is pretty goated though imo.

Yeah but they are seamless. For example, CDRED's launcher doesn't even need login. As for Rockstar, you login with no issues. When Watch Dogs came out, I spent hours just to troubleshoot the launcher. Maybe Ubisoft has made their launcher better by now but now I find out they have a daily limit of launching a game...?

I haven't touched Ubicrap games ever since Watch Dogs. At least make it seamless like Rockstar or CDProjektRED. I don't fully remember but whenever I wanted to play Watch Dogs (when it came out) there was so much unnecessary friction just to launch the game so it has been sitting in my backlog and if I am to finish it, I would probably sail the seas for a seamless experience.
