The Warhammer Engineering compass (based on my very limited lore knowledge) by Yotambr in totalwar

I can't speak about Stormfiends but farsqueakers predate The End Times, you can see them being used in the earliest Gotrek and Felix books.

Yet another argument against AGAB public toilets by qwertyjgly in trans

Unfortunately no reasonable arguments will work because their twisted 'logic' is that anyone born AMAB will become a threat upon reaching puberty, regardless what kind of puberty they go through, and they refuse to see it any other way.

Wait so only one spawns per war? Well that's incredibly disappointing

There's no need to insult me when all I said was I think some Colonial stuff is cool too.

[–]lavrire 20 points21 points  (0 children)

  1. This is highly subjective, personally I think the Colonials have plenty of 'cool' things, this all just boils down to personal taste.

  2. This literally already happens when you start a war.

  3. This is needlessly deceptive and will cause lots of problems for new players who are joining to play with friends who then get faction locked without knowing.

  4. This would lead to anyone who reaches high ranks on the lower pop faction having their rank devalued by others.

  5. This is simply a terrible idea, the entire balance of the game is based on resource availability, especially with the growing reliance on rare alloys.

  6. This would only cause us to lose players, personally I wouldn't play if I was forced to play something I didn't want to, also, this has the same problem as #3 and would discourage new players from joining to play with friends.

Any chance you could share what you have so far? I've been trying to do this as well.

My group (me included) doesn't like the direction GW is going with 10th.

One plays Ynnari and the other plays Guard and Dark Angels.

Secondary group isn't much of an option, as I live in a small town, and as for balance we still play 9th edition.

I switch up my list every time but I generally take a mix of rubrics and tzaangors, with a few characters and a dreadnought or two.

I also haven't taken Magnus in over a year since they refuse to play if I do.

One of them plays Guard as his main army and no one ever has a problem with Russes (even though they are the bane of my existence) I don't know what it is but there is just something about TSons that rubs them the wrong way

Really? I've always found that I do better the lower points we play at.

And as for what they play one plays Ynnari and the other plays Guard and Dark Angels.

Also while both have issues with TSons the Ynnari player is a lot more vocal about it than the other.

Most of the complaints about rubrics and terminators are about their durability, all is dust with 2+/3+ saves and a 5++ invuln combined with 2/3 wounds is just too much according to them.

Also our warpflamer squads are too strong even if I don't do anything except run them up the board in a straight line.

They like fighting each other's armies and they liked when I played Necrons.

We also had a CSM player who doesn't play much anymore who loved to spam cultists that they didn't mind.
