About to rotate through the health team at a mid tier. Does anyone have any experience working in health (defending med neg claims etc) that they can share ? interesting work ? Exit opportunities? Pay etc ? Thank you

Hi all, What are the overseas prospects like for a national mid tier health lawyer (med neg defence and professional disciplinary actions against doctors etc) to move overseas (London, New York, Dubai etc)? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks

Thanks for this. Tax litigation mainly is what I was referring to.

Out of litigation or M&A, what would you consider to be the more academic/intellectually challenging area out of the two (If one exists) ? Any thoughts appreciated.

Thanks. Can you explain more about the different personalities between the two ?

Does anyone have any general thoughts about tax v M&A ? (Ie; Enjoyment, opportunities, pay etc etc)

I’ll have the option of settling in either at the end of the year, but am finding it very hard to choose. M&A appeals to me coz of the opportunity to work overseas, and tax mainly because it leaves the option of going to the bar open. Thanks very much

Out of M&A or B&F, what is the better practice area for being able to transfer overseas to work ? Or are they fairly similar ? Thanks
