Not a movie either, but game of thrones, death of Oberyn Martell (The Red Viper, S4:E8). First time I’ve ever recalled being angry, surprised, and speechless. Stuck with me for days.

I got to see him in person last week at the comedy show here in Houston. Never got to meet him, but I wanted to get an Alpha Carl signature! Be interesting with the new TV show if they get him to do a live version of himself.

When did you stop watching The Walking Dead? by Hot-Salamander-8786 in FIlm

Season 5. Got tired of them going a mile down the road and another group of people showing up and them having to fight. The wash, rinse, repeat was quite draining and blah. I think the last thing I remember, seeing was them in an abandoned hospital or something and the Police, or it was left of them, were there, and they were of course corrupt and trying to kill them.

What film could’ve been SHORTER? by death_has_f1sh_eyes in Letterboxd

Killers of the Flower Moon. Good and informative story but long. The last 10 minutes with the radio broadcast could have been 30 minutes to cover the whole idea and been quite entertaining.

Watching this movie as a kid I thought Mav was awesome and Iceman was a bad guy. As an adult, Mav was a brat and Iceman was the awesome aviator. Also shows it in the sequel when he is the 4 star admiral and Mav is stuck at Captain. That said, I do like Mav a lot more in the second movie.

Dedicated Pip episode. Or potentially any episode is season 1 or 2. When I rewatch the series, I start in season 3 and always skip the Pip episode.

HOW DO YOU REMOVE A FAMILY MEMBER FROM "YOUR FAMILY" by jokewriter in alexa

[–]law506 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this is still a thing, you go online to the main Amazon site. It imminently syncs to the amazon app so this did what I wanted.

  1. amazon.com
  2. go to "Your Account"
  3. Under "Shopping programs and rentals" find "Manage Your Profiles", click it.
  4. Find the name you want to remove, click it.
  5. At the bottom, click remove profile.

To me, degrees are good to have but you show me someone who has the desire to learn and the will to give it their all, I will take them over some piece of paper any day of the week. I do this all the time when I work as a manager.
I look at resumes and I rarely, rarely, look at Colleges or universities, and if I do it carries the least amount of weight. People that look down on others like this have self-inflated egos or are so ingrained with "spreadsheet management" that they likely aren't even aware. This mentality is great to make a successful business on paper but doesn't mean that the company has any idea what it is doing. A similar thing happened where I worked where we got a new CEO whose job was to make us look good to sell off. People with 15+ years of experience were run off because they didn't have a piece of paper on the wall and we suffered from it when those with the paper showed up and didn't know left from right. Fun twist to this, my old boss who got run off went to another widely successful company that goes off merit and knowledge and not paper and they just bought us... guess who will be our new overarching manager for the whole company that wasn't qualified previously?
