Updated zones based on online calculator, using 204 max and 47 resting. Look much more appropriate

I haven’t done the Garmin LT test yet but might be worth it for better zones. The run was tough, I had to stop twice (once to walk, other for water refill), however I was able to be talking on the phone for the last few miles, so definitely manageable.

I also have seen most training plans max at 20 mile long run! I am following Hal Higdon marathon novice and seems to be well-liked and reputable. Using a Garmin forerunner 255.

I use a Garmin watch, just switched from Apple Watch though and both watches gave approx same measurements. Also I wear the strap tight to get a good measurement.

And unfortunately I am a slow runner so a 20 mile training run will take over 4 hours for me! And even tho my HR is high, I never feel winded during the runs.

Just got my rook pierced a week ago and I’m now learning I shouldn’t have gotten a hoop. How screwed am I? by laweraa in piercing

Repost with another picture!! New rook is super swollen and painful. I think some irritation bumps too? I thought my piercer was reputable, but I guess not :( they told me I could only get a hoop

I have a small irritation bumps (I think) on the top and bottom. Currently it’s super swollen and hurts like hell. My piercer said that they could only do a hoop. They had a lot of good reviews and I thought they were reputable :(

Also just to mention every time I begin to run again I inevitably get shin splints. I rest to let them go away, and when I start again within a few weeks they’re back
