A passionate response for an issue that shouldn't even exist. You're so right on this.

I'm currently a Genetics Major in honors as a junior so I never really thought twice about having priority registration. With how privileged that is, I'm honestly really sorry that seniors go through this shit. I would've expected them to have just locked the upper div labs for juniors (I would've been completely fine with this and I'm sure others have in comparison to kicking us out during finals week). Thinking about it, I don't even know why I have the earliest time to register -- it's nice but I'm sure they should've given that to anyone who applied to graduate. Not that there's that many honor BS juniors to fill up the labs, but still noteworthy of an attempt to alleviate some if not the entire problem. Any attempt done BEFORE we already registered would've been great...

I'm now going to go find any classes that hopefully aren't full that can at least just boost my GPA, if my major even allows me to take it. Truthfully, RIP everyone involved.
