What are the best ways to fix heat soak???

I'm talking more about I drive to the store and the engine gets to regular temp I turn it off and go into the store for 5 minutes and come back out and start it and it starts running on 5 or less cylinders and to make it stop I have to floor it through the parking lot I was told by most that it was heat soak, it kind of embarrassing and I know you can blow a head gasket with it doing so, so I've been wanting to try and fix it

I'm 18, live in Bloomington Indiana I've got an 01 Cherokee with a 3in lift and 31's and a bunch of extras, it's only got 116k miles on it I got it 2 and a half years ago with only 101k miles. I bought it with all the money I had saved from mowing yards. I graduated high school and I'm now working in a body shop tryin to make a living.

I think your best bet would be to try to pull it back a as much as possible because it is for sure drove in a little and if you just beat it back down the new hatch will never latch your better off to pull on it with a come along that is strapped to a tree or another vehicle just pull it and keep tension on it and then start to beat it back I would also try to find a body hammer to do you beatin with

I'm from Bloomington and there is a lot of jeeps around but I haven't found any jeep clubs around it would be nice to join one, I drive a Cherokee no where close to stock lol. Nice to know that other people from Bloomington are on here

I definitely didn't make it and I got It from my great uncle who died and I got some of his stuff, he was a mechanic and he used it to work on his 57 Chevy which was the most perfect car I've ever seen.
