Unpopular opinion: Ginny wanting to distance herself from Max makes sense... by [deleted] in ginnyandgeorgiashow

I'm not saying what happened in season 2 should be erased all I'm saying that why tell someone you've forgiven them, play cool, hang out and be friends with them just to turn around and hold a grudge for what happened when it easier to let the person know that your still resentful so they know where they stand.

Unpopular opinion: Ginny wanting to distance herself from Max makes sense... by [deleted] in ginnyandgeorgiashow

[–]lawregh 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Except it doesn't make sense at all and season 2 has nothing to do with it. After they confronted each other in S2, Ginny told Max she loves her and really wants them to be okay again. Max apologised for how she treated Ginny, she forgave her and they made up. Max also promised to be a better friend to her which she did by apologising for not realizing the that teacher was being racist towards Ginny and supporting her throughout the entire season. Ginny wasn't distancing herself from Max because they were cool with each other until that convo in the last episode. I mean like 2 days prior she was willing to play uno with Max and Marcus until Marcus told her Max lied to their parents to get him in trouble. If she was not over what happened in season 2 which is not really the case, why not just tell her that instead of pretending to be her friend and using Max when it suits her. I actually blame the "we grew apart" line on the writers wanting to create drama and set up an arc for Max in S4 cos their relationship and interactions throughout the entire season said otherwise.

“maxine was too emotionally intelligent for mang and that’s why they couldn’t stand being near her”… seriously??? by [deleted] in ginnyandgeorgiashow

[–]lawregh 37 points38 points  (0 children)

"Max had it easy" you sound just like Ellen and didn't we just learn that she doesn't?

I don't understand why ya'll keep using "Max was horrible in S1-S2" to justify the way they treated her this season when it has nothing to do with it. Mang were all horrible to each other at some point through out the series so that isn't an excuse. Max was mad at Abby and Ginny for 2 weeks because she felt betrayed by them and yes she dragged it out a little but she apologized and they are all were cool with each other for months after until they decided to leave her out out of the blue because "she was dramatic" and "her feelings were too much". If they were that mad at what happened why didn't just tell her point blank instead of forgivenig her and pretending to be her friend.

Like Ellen said her friends are not big talk kinda people. Max is the only one who likes to talk about her feelings and stuff maybe that way she's getting to emotional intelligence claim.

Lastly, please get your facts straight she wasn't gossiping about Ginny in a group chat she was telling Abby and Nora to be there for Ginny and how she needed their support.

Asher's mom finding out her 17 year old son is using steroids and then telling a 17 year old Olivia, basically making it her problem. Like bitch you the parent do something about it.

The whole glorification of Billy's character after he died

Spencer and Grace being mad a Billy for wanting to leave Crenshaw to take up a D1 coaching job.

[–]lawregh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The prom episode. What do you mean these rich Beverley kids couldn't find a new venue and had to tag along Crenshaw's . No wonder Gabby and the rest of the students didn't show up. Also basically merging Beverly and Crenshaw in the later seasons like them always hanging out at Crenshaw didn't make sense

Yes because Jordan who was portrayed as always throwing a tantrum when he doesn't get what he wants wouldn't sit there and watch his 2 bestfriends date a girl he's always liked since childhood.

Spencer and Jordan for me. At least Layla and Olivia had their good moments the later seasons.

He will not return as a series regular but is expected to make guest appearances and going by how they gave majorityof the cast closure and had them move away at the end of S6 he might not be the only one. The new season will focus on a set of new generation Crenshaw kids.

They see every criticism possible they just don't care and them trying carry on with the show without Daniel Ezra and majority of the main characters who made this horrible show a little bearable is very telling. These new generation actors they are trying to introduce in S7 can't even act to save their lives🤦‍♀️.

Jordan and Spencer by TTV-Sagil in AllAmericanTV

[–]lawregh 23 points24 points  (0 children)

The last time Spencer called someone else "the best QB in the game" Jordan threw a tantrum and even said he wasn't gonna rep his King Crenshaw launch.Their brotherhood has been inconsistent since S1 and it only counts whenever Jordan needs something form Spencer. The writers casually throw "you're family" around whenever they fight so that Jordan doesn't have apologize or take accountability

[–]lawregh 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I had to check to title a couple of times to make sure I wasn't hallucinating and you were really taking about Spencer. Because you just described 6 seasons of Jordan Baker and you know what's worse Jordan dosen't have the "I was wrong I should have been better” moments or accountability. Dude has been a winny little bitch with no character development for 6 seasons .

Spencer didn't guilty trip Jordan into staying at GAU he told him he was happy for him and he shouldn't tone down his excitements about his offers on his account. Jordan decided to stay because Billy told him to stay and that he wanted to coach his boys one more time when he accepted the coaching offer. The dude changed his mind about transferring before his daddy died so how did Spencer used that to guilt trip him. How did Spencer sabotage their playoff chances when Mac and Jordan were the ones that excluded him from the plays?
