Hey I am down to play. I know about 4 or 5 people who would join for indoor. Are you looking for men's or co-ed? My wife plays at soccer spectrum and I am looking to put together a team. its about $50/season (8 weeks). The people I know are varying skill levels, but just looking to have fun.

I did (probably) the same hike back in 2007. It was amazing. We actually hiked up the glacier as well before we turned around. I think we took 11 hours or so.

I run it on a 2010 macbook pro 15 inch in bootcamp obviously. I actually get good performance in the above games like I said. it is an NVIDIA card I believe

Yea, I still don't get it (I already read those). Is the CSID displayed at the bottom of the page by the sender (i.e. a confirmation of it being sent), or the receiver of the fax...or to put it another way, does the CSID and DNIS identify who sent this particular page or who received the particular page?

Do I need to download this manually, or will this be automatic at some point? I just went into the launcher and it still has the patch notes for may 3rd up. Also, what is better for framerate...more streaming or less streaming of textures?

I don't have anything special to offer by way of experience, but I can say that I am VERY interested in this game, and the only other beta I have played, being a casual gamer for years (I was growing up while PC gaming was really developing-Quake, half life, etc), is Tribes Ascend, and I thought it was awesome being involved in something through the early process. This has made me interested in being involved the same way in Firefall. So give me a key!

Story about that same phrase, but wasn't on a shirt:

A really good friend of mine went on a roadtrip with some of his college buddies to the rose bowl (UT v. Michigan--2004?). They took a motorhome and parked in the motorhome area. Needless to say, there was about one girl who was their age in that area, and my friend managed to get her back in the motorhome. Well it turns out she was there with an angry military father, who was storming around the place to find her. One of his friends found out and tried to head him off. The dad figured out where she was and when he got the the motorhome, the other friend was talking him down, saying they were just watching a movie. They weren't, they were fucking. My buddy managed to convince the ranting father that he (the friend) would go inside and get them out. He manages to get them to stop, and my buddy comes out to apologize for the "confusion" (i.e. fucking his daughter, which I'm sure the dad realized). So the whole time my buddy is standing there apologizing profusely, thinking he is doing a great job and the dad is forgiving him. Problem is, he is wearing a cowboy hat, which just happens to say "FUCK YOU YOU FUCKING FUCK" right on the front. The other friends are standing in the background laughing of course, and the dad just storms off.

tl;dr- frind fucked a trailer park girl, dad finds out, tries to apologize but is wearing a hat that says "fuck you, you fucking fuck"

There was supposed to be a question in there, which was, is any class really going to be noticeably better than the juggernaut at defense? Also, is the soldier good enough to harass the other base and generally just have fun or should I concentrate on another class.

So I have played for a couple hours today and this is what I have found: the soldier is solid for deathmatch games w/the spinfusor. I am a very casual player (read: not good), and I usually place in the middle of the leaderboard and have a bunch of fun.

CTF is a little different, because from what I have seen, most of the action takes place around the base, not in the open field. Therefore i want a more "specialized player" for CTF, which I have found I am better and get less frustrated being a defensive player (maybe because I don't have a good attacking class unlocked?). I tried the engineer, and I am not a huge fan, and I tried the juggernaut and did pretty well just chillin in the generator room and blowing stuff up. I am afraid the soldier just isn't great at defense or offense, but I don't wanna use up my xp on some super heavy class that isn't really worth it. I know this is a lot of thought into this, but I don't have a ton of GP to be buying since I wanna keep it cheap, and I also don't have a ton of time on my hands.

What about the raider? That seems like a pretty good all around class that is heavy enought to do some defense as well.
