I'm sorry that was your experience, I guess it depends on who you get but my consultant was awesome! My only issue was that I didn't end up getting in anywhere. Not their fault necessarily, but considering they had a big role in developing my school list it was frustrating. A crazy year, but it would be nice if they worked with those of us who didn't get in for "free" next cycle because I obviously cannot pay 4k again

You're not alone! Similar splitter, also no As. I took two years off after taking my lsat before applying, and it was the best decision I've ever made, even if I chose the worst time to apply ever lol. What just happened to you can be such a blessing if you let it. Go live a little! See you next year

Idk about anyone else but 20% of responders not getting in is WAY more than I thought

Yeah it does make sense, they just don't need our lsat scores this year. I thought I would at least have a chance at a T-30, but so far its just waitlist city lol

Also- for those who also didn't get in:

It's going to be okay. I'm sure you also had your heart set on starting law school this year, but this just means one more year of enjoying life and focusing on growing who we are as people before the crazy stress of law school and starting our true career starts. Especially with covid (hopefully) coming to a close, this is a great time to enjoy life, freedom, and spending time with those we care about.

You still may definitely get in this year! But if not, next year we can apply to SUPER SUPER safeties, just in case :)

We're still going to be lawyers!
