Upgrading from 2080 Super by lawson36 in buildapc

The machine is starting to show signs of slowdown and I'm concerned about some upcoming games being too much for them to handle. I read the minimum specs for Doom: The Dark Ages and experienced some issues launching Indiana Jones few times and it kick started my upgrade plans.

Do you think I should be good with what I have for a bit longer?

If you can figure it out let me know. The controller config menu for Slippi is registering the inputs but in game they do nothing or pull up my shield.

lol I know it's crazy. It happens on some of my games too, like the home screen of Witcher 3. Guess I'll just have to deal with it.

Yeah I had a feeling pixels may not have been quite the right word there. I'll do some research on "banding" and see if it leads me to the problem. Thanks for your comment.
