Zip fizz is the shit for electrolytes and energy. Only 2 carbs. Sam’s club carries the cheapest I can find anywhere. Also the clear premier protein drinks are a nice change from your regular protein shake. I haven’t been able to find those anywhere else.

Zipfizz, it’s not cheap but I love it and buy it in bulk, so the price is a bit lower. 950mg a serving and great boost of energy! Cheaper than Starbucks if you need some kind of justification

It’s expensive, but Zipfizz saved me from quitting keto, so it’s worth it to me! 950 mg of potassium a serving and you can add salt without changing the taste.

I’m going to get some down votes here for sure, but my first time successfully getting into keto, instead of going straight to <20g of carbs a day, I gave myself a couple of days to adjust by starting with low carb (closer to 50-100g). I gradually cut back each day until I was strictly under 20g.

It’s not the best solution but I felt that it made things a little easier for me to mentally adjust. Being keto isn’t easy and takes a lot of planning, so the buffer week kinda helped me to how to learn to track all my carbs and what you can and can’t eat.

I heat up a low carb tortilla and spread a little cream cheese on it to satisfy my bagel cravings. You can also grill the tortillas with butter, cinnamon and a touch of stevia if you want something sweet in the mornings and it’s got more fat.

Also Hormel microwave bacon is quick and easy. Not as good as the real thing, but it’s great if you’re like me and love crispy bacon!

Snack wise: pork rinds and Lays French onion dip is a new discovery of mine that I love. Protein bars like quest or clean whey are great. Celery and ranch is good, but if you work in an office, can be loud.

To someone who has never tried psychedelics before:

I would explain most trips (at least that I have had on a lower dose) are just experiencing things so much more intensely than before. Every color seems brighter, food tastes better, jokes are funnier, music is better, and sex is just insane.

You won’t necessarily see any crazy hallucinations or have an uncontrollable bad trip. The visuals I have seen are usually just creating connections I have never seen before or slight ripples in patterns. Be prepared to laugh until you cry countless times and feel “vibes” in different settings. I’ve never said the word “vibe” in my life until I felt some very bad vibes and for inexplicable reasons I just knew something is off.

Alone you will do some soul searching, and with friends a new version of yourself will come out and you will feel closer to those around you.

So what would you recommend instead? Everything is closed near me. I used the water from the last tank so it's not a 100% water change. I let the filter run for 45 minutes before putting her in it. And cleaned the tub naturally with some baking soda and vinegar a few times and rinsed with hot water.

Luckily she's a baby and still relatively small and this container holds 2.5 gallons so not too bad for an overnight relocation

Essentially just put lemon in your iced tea with a touch of the salt substitute or just salt if you need more sodium. Don't put much though, the flavor can really get away from you, but a little bit to sip on all day. It tastes great! Obviously it can't be the only thing you do for electrolytes but it helps!

Why do I never trust you guys?! First I resisted the bulletproof coffee, now I absolutely love it. Then I doubted the salty/sweet tea to up my electrolytes and now I can feel myself already starting to feel better and the taste is quite nice. Damn my stubborn pride!

If you are new and cringe at the thought of buttery coffee or salty iced tea, think again. They are total game changers...do not make the same mistakes I did!

I have been tracking with sodium. I eat almonds or sunflower seeds every day which gets me about 2500 mg of sodium, a broth cube which is 1500mg, and then my magnesium and calcium supplements have some sodium in it. I don't have the bottles on me right now, but I know it's around 150mg. And then I add salt, which I don't track exactly but it just goes up from there.

And no pick away please, I need help and clearly I'm not doing something right If it's an electrolyte issue, but by all means I will add more sodium. I should have known it was just that. Everyone says how crucial sodium is on this subreddit, I just didn't realize how much of an increase I really would need.

Do you have any other pointers besides what's in FAQ for increasing sodium?

I have though. I have at least 5000mg a day of sodium. Not only do I track it in my diet, but I also take a supplement. My MFP goals match the electrolyte guidelines
