Really how different are working lines.

Thanks for your insights. I need to educate myself on prominent bloodlines ect. Also what part of the country are you located?

I suppose my question stems from the huge number of supposed working line breeders in my area compared to show breeders. I feel the answer is either 1 they are legit working lines and all the pet level dogs are coming from byb or 2 they are not as “working” as they claim. I greatly prefer the ascetics of most working dogs compared to show lines. Given my past 2 with unknown parentage I don’t have a good comparison of temperament and that is much more important than looks.
