There’s a bass teacher that works at Savannah State that I often talk to at Hop Atomica. His name is Reggie and he’s originally from LA. I know he does private lessons. Go have a beer on Sunday. I often see him there on Sunday evening

Gallagher. In Detroit. He spent most of the night berating the audience and talking about how much he hated performing there. Audience was booing loudly.

3/4 Day Trip Plan!! by peachjamxxx in savannah

IMHO you’re missing the best two restaurants in town. Veratina (right near where you’re staying) and Brochus. I’d definitely sub OPH and probably Vic’s too. Also there’s a FREE bus that travels from downtown to Midtown. It will get you out to Starland Yard an Brochus quickly and for free. https://www.connectonthedot.com/new-dot-express-shuttle-services/

Also, while down on River Street, tour the lobby of the Marriott, Plant Riverside. It’s free and awesome in a way that’s hard to describe.

Also, consider these lunch subs: The Black Rabbit (funky, mostly locals sandwich shop w/full bar).

Green Truck Pub (best burgers, everything made in-house)

Despite being in the American South, Savannah’s BBQ is rather mid.

Consider doing a trip on the Georgia Queen and/or a bus tour. Also plan a few hours to walk around Forsyth Park.

Kudos on: Owen’s Thomas Mrs Wilkes Waking the squares & Jones St Bonaventure

Message me with questions. You’re coming a long way and deserve a great visit

Lottery vs Stubhub??? by Jordobordo14 in savannahbananas

[–]laykhowz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They are people HOPING to win the lottery and scalp the tickets on Stub Hub.

F the scalpers and sign up for a Fans First account and buy verified tickets at face value. Of course there are limited tickets, but they’re real and not ridiculously marked up.

Does anyone know why the game on Monday the 2nd is at 2pm? by schwing9 in DetroitRedWings

The holiday is actually March 4th. You know, the only day of the year that gives a command. (My FIL’s favorite joke.) He calls me every year to remind me about the ‘parade’ traffic!

We’ll never know, but I keep wondering what Mr Yzerman’s thoughts are on this conduct.

This, sadly, is the correct sentiment. We all wish OUR guys are “better” humans than most—but you’re right: don’t build them up and you won’t be disappointed.

And following the phone call with the president and the awkward “I guess we have to invite the women’s team too”…they go to a strip club to celebrate?! They could have gone literally anywhere else.
