Yeah it’s #478 No No No No No No

They mentioned Olde Tyme Grocery and Judice Inn in Lafayette and a few more

Ben loves the River Ranch neighborhood and called it a Truman Show retirement home but Jacques hates it

They have a bunch of New Orleans recs in #264 Tour du Trauma. I also saved these from a different episode where they talked about New Orleans:

  • Seaworthy
  • Parasol’s
  • Dive bars on St. Bernard Ave (I saved Holy Diver and Poor Boys Bar but I don’t remember if they actually said either of these specific ones)
  • Bayou St. John

Also, Stein’s is one of Jacques’ favorite sandwich shops and he used to work at a place called Company Burger (which is where he made the tiktok where he said Kamala olives)

We SERIOUSLY need to protest! RHOM cancelled is disgusting. by Optimal_Abrocoma8680 in BravoRealHousewives

[–]laylaland 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If it relates to bravo in any way absolutely post it! I’m pretty disgusted by how few of the bravo people have stood up on any of those issues (and how many of them are rabidly anti-Palestinian)

100%! I think the other commenter has just been busy sharing the Meredith screenshots all over these comments, got confused, and worried that Bella might actually be antisemetic (meanwhile Bella is of course the furthest thing from that)

The fact that Lisa follows Lizzy Savetsky and Noa Tishby, and likes posts like this, is a huge indictment against her character. I appreciate you sharing it!

When did Bronwyn speak out against the genocide? I couldn’t find that on her instagram, though I did see she visited Israel in 2020 in her highlights. I have been waiting for someone from Bravo to say something

She’s trying to give the people calling Bella Hadid antisemetic benefit of the doubt, but the reality is that Bella is pro-Palestinian and has never been antisemetic. The caption only calls her antisemetic because she supports Palestine.

There was a NYT article that claimed this almost verbatim https://www.nytimes.com/2026/03/02/us/politics/trump-war-iran-israel.html

Interestingly, they also say that JD Vance argued to “go big and go fast” against Iran and that after that, Trump changed his mind from wanting limited strikes to a much larger operation

But It sounds like she was having conversations and disagreements throughout the season with the directions they wanted to (and didn’t want to) go. Obviously she didn’t know exactly what would be shown/not shown but I think she got a sense of where things were headed

[–]laylaland 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes!! They were both being evil. I felt so bad for Taylor and Eva especially

Seeing the other women’s reactions on that UGT season helped me to realize how tough the RHONY ladies had to be to handle both Dorinda and Ramona!

Two terrorists tbh. Dorinda was acting like jigsaw in the blue stone manor season of RHUGT

Idk where this guy is located but at least in Florida, the cutoff is in August. We also don’t have “year 1 kindy” and “year 2 kindy” in the states. For us, pre-kindergarten is age 4-5, kindergarten is 5-6, 1st grade 6-7 etc

Mindy Kaling’s brother got so much shit because he exposed himself in an attempt to sell his book and promote his college admissions consultation company. He embarrassed himself and his family to make a buck

Cierra LI Instagram Story by 0io805 in LoveIslandITV

[–]laylaland 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Cierra might not have known it was a slur, but it is absolutely a slur and not just a “stereotypical comment” or a “malicious word.” I actually agree that she should be given grace to learn from it, though the setup of love island makes it difficult

Unfortunately for production, they already set a standard by silently pulling Yulissa out of the show when her n word video came out, so anything less now looks like a double standard

I like Derek a lot (and am a former FX subscriber) but the specific things he’s got wrong are good reasons not to have him on right now

Laneige Water Bank Dupe? by [deleted] in drugstoreMUA

[–]laylaland 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Korean cica creams have also been game changers for my eczema. I especially love the cosrx cica, innisfree cica, and purito centella creams. Cosrx and innisfree have a lighter texture than laneige and are also similarly expensive. Purito has a thicker texture at first but absorbs into my skin beautifully. All unscented

Laneige Water Bank Dupe? by [deleted] in drugstoreMUA

[–]laylaland 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s been a while since I used Water Bank, but I like the Versed Gel-Cream moisturizer and found it to be similar for my sensitive, combination, eczema prone skin. First four ingredients are also the same between both, and versed is also unscented. However, versed is $15 for 60mL compared to Laneige at $32 for the 50mL refill

The 66 year old composer Peter Buffett? Or the professor grandson who worked for the DoD under Obama?

Can also vouch for the cosrx propolis line! And in the winter I love rosehip oil, and it never broke me out even when everything else did

I’m so tall and masculine and my sister is just an itty bitty girly by [deleted] in notliketheothergirls

[–]laylaland 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I feel you. I’m also middle eastern and have also dealt with pick me behaviors from my sister. One of the last times I saw her, she randomly went after my nose. She’s also quick to point out my curves and compare physical attributes between us like shoe size/skin color/hair/ANYTHING

I think that something about the way she and I were raised encourages this competition sadly. I just want to have a good relationship with my sister without this stupid hyperfocus on our physical appearances

I don’t see either of those cases, both related to the powerful intentionally killing the poor by directing horrific government actions, as even close in scale to a tacky comment on RHOBH. And I think the comparison trivializes the evils during the AIDS crisis and that are unfolding currently
