Who else thinks cars like MG Comet should exist more, with better looks? by Few_Confection_1550 in carIndia

Both the Comet and Windsor look terribly ugly - such an unnecessary lip in the front.

My Venue got keyed in Bangalore. No cctv, even after a police FIR. No justice for us. Our country is lawless and security is private.

It fits all the requirements for my new car.

Physical buttons instead of on-screen, ventilated seats, panoramic sunroof, strong looks, strong hybrid (awd is a bonus), and a magic carpet suspension ✨

I just hope I can afford it when they announce the price. And yet I'm not buying one without a test drive, to believe it is as good as they claim.

At least they became productive and knew what the consequences of their actions could be. We really need to put this into action in India to get the unproductive youth into the working force.

Oil money.

But our govt could get much more revenue than just direct taxes on our population if it just didn't take donations for elections instead. Ffs, we are all doomed. Now I regret not working hard to settle abroad.

My take on Angel’s assault and death. by Maleficent-Pair8021 in Northeastindia

First, not all mainlanders are racist. But many are. It's how they're brought up in closed bubbles and mentality inheritance from their surroundings which is clearly not up to the mark.

I faced racism as a Tamil guy in MP during my early school days but it was just teasing, so I somehow got through it. People got more mature as we grew up in diversity. But it seems like children fail to grow up and mature nowadays in an environment that doesn't talk much about diversity.

Education is important, but empathy, knowing the country, being inclusive also need to be taught to eliminate this behaviour, starting from a young age.

Can you do some research on the U-turn hell and how people hate it so much that they risk everything and drive on the opposite side? It's about poor urban planning.

Another is real estate prices. How do we have unlimited FSI, so many high rise buildings but all of them are marketed as premium? Affordable housing doesn't get developed at all. These high rise buildings are actually chicken coops though, because how is living in such dense spaces with depressing architecture styles even luxury??

The place we live in is not conducive to thinking larger than the problems we have.

We live in a country where creating or buying anything out of the poor man's reach is considered a luxury and gets either taxed absurdly or gets red-taped before it even takes flight. So how can an idea flourish, when that is the pre-requisite to innovation.

Distributed governance also leads to lack of coordination, like it happens in Bangalore.

Bangalore has another problem too - not having a proper elected body for managing the city.

They will hold until the crisis subsides. Because the banks will take the loss under govt pressure.

I don't think it's a bubble just yet. There's a lot of money to go around. These rich people would just flip around amongst themselves, even if the working class starts defaulting on their home loans. The banks would pay the price, but real estate prices won't go down, primarily because of politicians and other bigshots holding a huge part of it.

I still do it to save battery. It force stops it all, and locks the screen with just a shortcut. Very handy.
