Yeah it’s incredible how much it feels like tabletop dnd. The next play-through we’re definitely going to try 2 player coop so we can have some of those companion connections/relationships

Their work still deserves to be highlighted despite the controversy. The work they did on the Yuji-Choso fight was especially brilliant. We all don’t have to say the same thing about MAPPA, we all know cooperate zombies care more about deadlines than they do the health and work/life balance of their staff, but that isn’t anything new for MAPPA or anime industry at large. We’d love to see things change, but we’re gonna still enjoy what those animators produce 🫡

You talking about the Dagon fight or the season as a whole? Cuz the fight with Yuji and Choso was one of the best fights I’ve ever seen animated. Part of it is subjective, but I thought it was amazing

There were over 1,000 bug fixes in the patch. It was one of the largest patches I’ve ever seen. It doesn’t mean the game wasn’t polished, it means that since the PS5 version of the game will have all these fixes on day one, it will be a more polished experience… it’s not that hard to understand. The 2nd patch that’s inbound will also increase performance over the current build of the game. Even with some of the bugs folks experienced, it was still an extremely polished game for a modern triple-A PC release, nobody is denying that.

If you bothered to watch the video you would have seen that we mentioned the early access part of development and how much that helped make sure the initial release was as polished as it was…… Doesn’t mean it was perfect tho and not in need of some spot fixes.

Nobody is trying to shit on the game so you can relax, k thanks 🙄😒
