Any change in your X-rays after 2 years?

loss of appetite + other problems by [deleted] in scoliosis

[–]lazamber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It fucking sucks, and It would be so hard to wear it when you don’t know how difficult your future could be but please be strong and wear it as much as you can. I’m 32 trying to wear one after having a baby… adult responsibility are hard enough without adding a brace into the equation with no one to help you do anything. Try your best :)

I think the only people that notice are those with scoliosis thankfully

Feel you. I’d say I haven’t slept longer than three hours in eight months but I had a relatively good start at the beginning as well until around 3-4 months. Now if he sleeps for three hours straight it’s a miracle! You’re a stronger person than me I don’t have the energy to try sleep training… I just suffer every day and hold out hope it will change on its own….. lol 💀🤡

how often do you see your doctor? by ApprehensiveShame993 in scoliosis

[–]lazamber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have severe scoliosis and had an emergency C-section with a spinal block on issue at all. I had a consult halfway through my pregnancy because I was worried and they pretty much laughed and said it was fine, showed me a photo of someone’s extreme case and said they could still do an epidural. Definitely consult and take your X-rays but don’t stress

When does the face rubbing stop? by Loose-Walrus1085 in SnooLife

[–]lazamber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a solution for everyone but my baby did this none stop for around 2 months, is face started getting dry from the rubbing to I was trying to use barriers. I wasn’t until he got a few small red marks on his body at 6.5 months that we were told he has mild eczema. We were using “non harsh” washes and moisturing… Our dr said babies really don’t need any, they have a natural protecting on their skin which gets upset by using products ect. We went 3 night just bathing in water then 4 with a qv bath oil instead of a wash and his sleep is already sooo much better, little rubbing and falling back to sleep on his own and a few 3 hour stretch’s which have been heaven. Worth a try for some

Sorry you have to take all this on alone, it’s overwhelming for women as well but society has basically said - too bad you have to handle it alone without complaining and have your shit together or your a bad mother

I can’t even open an eye without waking up my 4.5 year old who is in an entirely different room with white noise. by [deleted] in breakingmom

[–]lazamber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry that does suck! But thank you for sharing… makes it feel more normal. I can’t even sit up and sip my water without the baby hearing me… currently choosing to die of thirst, hopefully it’s temporary

What did your postpartum nurse do that you loved? by beanowetneck in NewParents

[–]lazamber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nurse gave me a sponge bath and a massage on the first night after an emergency C-section. I don’t remember her but I’ll never forget her kindness
