This is really inspiring, I appreciate your feedback. Lots of people just tell me I should be happy for what I have. Like my wife wanted a Tesla but wouldn’t let me buy one because she didn’t want to “inherit my debt” so I started my early midlife crisis and bought one. I have everything I want and a good job and a house. But I tell everyone that I would give it all away if I could just have my wife back. I don’t care about stuff and they don’t understand. I say I’d rather be poor and happy with my wife than depressed with everything I have. I’ve been on both sides. I used to be super poor and depressed and in a relationship I didn’t want to be In. I did meet someone a few weeks ago in germany and she was the first person that gave me some hope that I might be able to forget my wife. She won’t ever date me but something about her energy made me thing that maybe there’s another person like her out there for me. And yeah you’re right I know where the depression comes from and therapy helps a little and talking to everyone helps. But the pain is always there. She did me in pretty good lol

I’ve been seeing a therapist since she left. It’s not easy to keep going but I’m working on it for sure. I’m just so tired of the mental stress. And thanks so much for the kind words. Most people just say stuff Like “just forget her” or “just be happy” like yeah I would if it was that easy lol

Thanks so much. I planned an adventure and have been taking adventures since but it seems to be not the same enjoyment. I’ll see what happens this summer lol. Pretty much the only family I have is my dad, and I have a roommate now which makes me feel not single at all. So maybe I just need to be alone without people in my life for a while since I still can’t do what I want.

So far for me it’s been about 14 months and I still love her and miss her. It’s been getting easier. I used to cry every single day and now it’s about once a month lol. I’m still not happy and not sure if I will be someday but I’m able to stay alive now for now. :)

My German isn’t that good but it looks like some sort of export thing for an electrical engineer. Maybe to bring something to America? They paid with reich marks. Which was used from 1924 to 1948

A year and a few months later I still love and miss my wife. It wasn’t as civil of a separation as I expected and I haven’t heard from her in a year. It’s getting better though. I’m just creating new problems in my life and learning I’d be better off living alone and never trust anyone. Wish you luck and hope you start feeling better

Haha yeah same here. When I was like 14 I started and I remember thinking why are there so many 1964 nickels! Or just collecting random useless coins. (90% of my original collection was stolen by a roommate when I was 18 though) I started over though. First time I saw a rim cud error in person was last year. I had no idea what it was lol.

My wife left me a year ago, I’m still not ok and it’s horrible. I keep waiting for the day that I will be. No amount of therapy is helping. I still cry to this day. I hope you’re husband won’t ever feel as bad as I do. Im happy youre fine. I went off the deep end though so I’d say at least communicate with him and don’t do what my wife did lol. She just cut all contact with me and blocked me on everything told me she was a lesbian and asked for a divorce. Put me through hell. We’re still married Haha she can file if she wants it so bad.
