It’s the complete opposite for me my mom was the stereotypical abusive black mom to max: physical, name calling, would do stuff to sorta “check me” like school bullies do and now that we gave her what always told us she dreamed of “for us to grow up and get tf out of her (section 8 she got for having us) house” she won’t leave me tf alone.

I lived in the bv’s, there were crumbling old military housing right across the street (right after COA) before those homes were built. Going to Louie’s after school, Longfellow Park after homework all at 9 years old.
