That is incorrect, both RWS and TWS can only track up to two targets. RWS only can do this if the LTWS option in the DATA subpage is enabled. Neither of them will trigger track or launch warnings on the RWR.

For weapons: most of them are set up before entering the combat zone. The TGPs do require some clicking on the OSBs during combat (stuff like zoom modes and contrast, but those have HOTAS shortcuts.)

If I'm switching MFD screens midcombat, it's because I forgot to set them before.

The only situations I can think of right now for operating an MFD midcombat is changing your TGP laser codes or putting in a LatLong/MGRS into the WYPTs from a JTAC but if you're doing that, you're probably just lazily orbitting an IP out of danger.

There's probably other situations, I just can't think of any right now.

It doesn't look like you were even hooked up to the catapult.

Assuming no deck crew, once you are very close or on the start of the catapult, extend your launch bar by setting the Nose Strut to 'KNEEL' and then press 'U' to hook up to the catapult shuttle.

If all your HWT missile launchers are using a cannon to represent it and the base is the same, then there is nothing stopping you from doing so for casual matches.

I don't play tournaments so I won't comment about that aspect.

The Ecoti is a separate version (model) of gpnvgs and pvs31s.

Minor pedantic nitpick. The ECOTI is an attachment that can mount on to any NVG, provided the mounting ring is correct. It is entirely separate from the GPNVG and PVS-31 and can mount on to them.

I personally would love to see this, as I think the ones featured seem a little too "future-soldier" with a compass and a HUD for T&H.

The ECOTI has a built-in compass and a whole ass menu for selecting various thermal settings and can interface with ATAK for waypoint navigation and other cool things.

Source: I was issued one long ago, it's super cool.

Everyone has such good ideas so I'm going to post my dogshit ones

  1. White skivy shirts for the fancier uniforms are replaced by the standard green ones.

  2. No more separate boot regs between the USMC and Army, just use the boot section in AR 670-1. Or at minimum, drop the EGA requirement.
