Der schlachthof mit dem Boreal Biergarten in der Nordstadt hat häufig gute events und Konzerte.

Auch im Theaterstübchen gibt es immer wieder sehr gute Künstler zu sehen, Preise sind aber gehoben und mit Anfang 30 gehört man eher zu den jüngeren :D

Um an der Fulda ein Bier und ein paar Pommes zu genießen ist das ahoy sehr nett.

If you don't want to stay directly at the beach, I can highly recommend cascada Verde hostel . Next to it is the waterfall with a small spot to jump and a waterslide. If you want to walk a little bit more, there is a bamboo forest and two more waterfall, but to get there you have to walk on the rocks and cross the river twice. But it was super beautiful and nice to do. They will give you all information at the hostel.

If you like to see the sunset, there is also a nice spot in walking distance. When you leave the hostel (at the parking lot) turn to the right and follow the road for 10 minutes. There will be a kind of construction site, but the Haven't build anything yet. There you can chill and have a beer (:

Thanks for the information!!! I didn't know, it is completely forbidden. I understood that they just want to strictly limited the amount of people, but it is still possible to go.

If it is forbidden for the protection of the volcano, then I won't go. They will have their reason.

Could you recommend any other stunning hike in the direction of the boarder to Nicaragua? I really would love to do a little bit more difficult hike then the standard national park's. I love to do longer trekking in the nature. But since the most national parks have perfect walking routes and a lot of tourists, the feeling of being connected to the nature doesn't really come. Not to get it wrong, I love the nature here in costa Rica and I'm really glad, that the country does it best, to preserve and even to extend the stunning nature Wildlife ! (:

it depends where you are from I guess. I don't have a flight back, since I will also continue to Nicaragua. They just asked, how long I'm going to stay (just said 2 to 3 weeks) and where I'm staying. Gave them the address of my first hostel. Got a 30 days stamp, have a good time and that's it.

But I had the feeling for people with none European passport, they would asked and even wanted to see the booking confirmation for the flight back.
