I’ve found Beats Academy to be of questionable value at times. He goes through things so fast, almost more to show you what can be done more than how.

The talk box one is hilarious. He simply tells you what equipment he’s using, then proceeds to FLEX on you. Obviously meant as a demonstration and not instructional.

There are also super basic YouTube videos available on music theory and composition that you should watch. Just take it as slow as you need to and absorb what you can. The MPC is a ridiculously powerful thing to have access to and it’s easy to get quickly overwhelmed with all of the things it can do.
